Writing My Life
"I must make the best of my only way home." -- Tom Waits, Never Let Go I know I haven't been great about keeping up here. In fact, I've been terrible at it. There are a lot of things I've been terrible at in this chapter of my life (and it's been a long chapter, let me tell you). If I want to get back to the place I know I belong, then I have to get better about the things that matter. This matters. What you're reading matters. I have a new job now and it's been sucking up a lot of my time, not just during regular business hours, but almost all hours that I'm awake. When I'm not actually working, I'm thinking about work which means I'm not writing. If I'm not writing, then I'm not making any progress in the journey back. The mission is failing.
